WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND?
“What’s in your hands?” This was the same question God asked Moses when the children of Israel where at the bank of the red sea. Right before one of the most significant miracles from the bible was performed, God asked, “What is in your hands?”
And when Moses looked, he saw his rod, same with which he had performed a lot other miracles under God’s instructions_ of course.
In life, you have to have something in your hand before something can stick to it. Even if it’s not money, even if it’s not in form of any monetary holdings, you have to have something, even if it’s just a well working brain.
Look at this scenario, someone without any real plan, dream of a goal, if you give him a hundred thousand right now, it would be spent within a week. Yea, a hundred thousand is not a lot of money but if you give that same amount to a man with a plan, he would do something tangible.
We are in a struggling economy, this is not news, even my three year old cousin knows that we are in “Buhari regime” so, don’t complain about that to me. In this so called “Buhari regime” people are buying cars, building houses, travelling abroad and raising children. You are the one using it as an excuse.
Times are hard, things aren’t working quite as it was, and the prices of things are now doubled. But what about your brain? Is there a price tag on it too? Do you have to pay for it to be opened to you or can you access it whenever you want? If you can, then get thinking.
Hard times is not a barrier, your mindset is. I once listened to a preacher say: you can start a business without money. Before then my entrepreneurial friend told me, that the true capital of a business is not money but “integrity” he said that if you have integrity then there will be someone willing to give you products to start and pay as you sell.
When the preacher said this, I added it to what my friend said and made some sense out of it. We all have something in our hands, and that’s the kind of character that we have and then, we also have our brains.
To get all that you want you have to first identify what you have in your hands, what is it? Do you have any integrity? Is it enough for a start-up business? Do you have a brain? Can you use it? If the answers to these questions are positive then, you have all it takes to get to that financial freedom you want.
I believe in the power of the mind, if you can think it then you can see it. Don’t think of just one step and then hit on “execute” think at least five steps ahead.
Don’t make one move and then go home to complain that it didn’t work, put pressure, if you really want it then you will get it.
So, what’s in your hand???
