Focus+mind management Matthew 6:22 says “the light of the body is the eyes, if therefore thine eyes be single, the whole body shall be full of light” You can’t begin to imagine the wondrous work the mind is capable of when properly focused to a task or tasks. And this is where mind management comes in, focus is a thing of the mind. It’s in the mind that focus is birthed. Therefore, conception of focus might not occur when the mind is not efficiently managed. The truth is, being a young adult and in the current world we live in, distraction is not unthinkable. There is the issue of social media, which on its own is not bad, but without proper utilization, it could become a source of major distraction. You know, caring more about the number of your likes on facebook and instagram, ignoring your grades, career and life’s goals. Annie diliard, rightly pointed out that, “how we spend our days is, of course, how we spend of lives. While classes are going on, you are taking selfies because the lack of mind management prevents one from setting the right priorities. Reversing back to the scripture, Matthew 6:22 When you have focus, the world is truly your oyster. You can set proper goals and then with the effective aid of mind management, you would be sure to accomplish such goals.
