You could have been working at a goal, career or a purpose for such a long time and it seem not to be making any headway.

Now, you are frustrated, you are beaten and battered. Some nights you can’t sleep, you are hypertensive and your heart is trembling with panic.
You hear it flat-lining and you are scared of the inevitable death of that goal, you are terrified of that career failing because you have built so much around it.
Here is another strategy, find the courage, the fortitude, the grace to lay that goal down. Lay that career down, willingly, purposely and decisively. Personally and not grudgingly.
There is a point that situation will get to that you can no longer continue to patch it, it’s unwise to continue managing it and holding your breath through it. You have to lay it to rest and give it the opportunity to resurrect.

I’m not one to preach giving up or quitting but there has to come a time when you have to use other means and strategies. Instead of fighting, instead of belligerently continuing at a time when you have reached the end of the road. Stop, let it down, on your own, stand down and standby.
Now, resuscitate it and see if it will accept the power of resurrection.
Sometimes, you have to take a step back to see the full picture. You work at a goal for so long that your eyes are now dim and now need new sets of eyes. You have to take your eyes from it, rest your eyes and let it be renewed and be enlightened.

If it doesn’t die, it can’t be resurrected and if it doesn’t resurrect you would keep patching it and managing it.
Take a moment and find the wisdom to digest these words, so it would find practical fulfilment in your life…
